Baked BBQ Tofu

This vegan recipe for BBQ Tofu doesn’t require a grill or barbecue pit to fuss with. All you need is an oven and a glass or ceramic baking pan. We recommend serving it with braised collards and cornbread (which we’ll have recipes for posted soon!)
Ingredients
1 Bottle of Annie’s Organic Sweet & Spicy Barbecue Sauce
1 Pound Tofu, drained and pressed, cut along the width into eight even sliced
2 Tablespoons of peanut or olive oil
1 Tablespoon soy sauce
Directions
Preheat the oven to 350ºF
In a 9 x 18 inch baking pan, rub the tofu in the oil and soy sauce, coating both sides
Place in the oven and bake for 15 minutes
Remove from the oven, flip the slices and back for another 15 minutes
When the tofu is done baking, pour barbecue sauce over, smothering each slice. Return to the oven and bake for another 15 minutes.
Remove from the oven and serve!
